The Nuffield Department of Population Health (NDPH) contains world-renowned population health research groups and provides an excellent environment for multi-disciplinary research and teaching.

NDPH is a major international centre for research into chronic diseases, such as cancer and heart disease.


We are seeking to recruit a Postgraduate Taught Programme (PGT) Administrative Officer to take the lead role in providing administrative support to the MSc Global Health Science and Epidemiology (GHSE) Course Director(s) and the Director of Graduate Studies for the MSc GHSE taught student activities.

You will report to the Graduate Studies Manager.

The Department admits between 25 and 30 full-time Masters students each year. The post involves a high level of interaction with staff of all levels as well as students.

You will be asked to arrange various events associated with the delivery of postgraduate teaching in the Department including the logistics of timetabling, induction and lectures; organizing and distributing teaching materials.

We are looking for someone with a previous relevant administrative experience. Excellent interpersonal and communication skills are essential for this role. You must be proactive in your approach to your duties and be able to work with minimum supervision.

The post is full-time (part-time considered) and fixed term for 3 years.
