Penguin Recruitment is delighted to present a fantastic opportunity for a talented Town Planner to join an award-winning Town Planning Consultancy in Southampton to their close-knit and dynamic team of Chartered Planners and Consultants.

This close-knit and dynamic team of chartered planners and consultants aim is to provide their clients with the best guidance and advice to navigate through the complex planning system to achieve optimum results.

The practice is well established and has been in operation for over 20 years.

It has gained a reputation for covering a wide range of large-scale schemes that include residential, commercial, industrial and hospitality sectors.

Their body of clients include national, regional, and local housebuilders, as well as a variety of Local Planning Authorities, hotel and care operators, and commercial property investment organisations in addition to homeowners and local businesses.

Duties of the role
As part of the dynamic team, you will work collaboratively in bringing clients the best possible services, some of which include the following:

Providing planning input to masterplannning projects and site promotion documents.
RTPI accredited degree in Town Planning or relevant field of study.
Previous experience in a similar role ideal.
Experience with using 'InDesign' software advantageous.
Ability to work from own initiative as well as collaboratively.
Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal.
