T2M Resourcing are recruiting a Finance Manager for the manufacturing division of a successful international group with a turnover of c£65M, who has gone from strength to strength whilst making a difference to the lives of so many people.

The company hasa positive 'can do' culture, we are seeking a qualified accountant who has the experience of managing a small team, accurate recording, and reporting of accounting information, maintaining effective financial controls and legal compliance, statutory reportingand whilst supporting continuous improvement.

Reporting to the Financial Controller your remit will include:


Responsibilities of the Finance Manager:


  • Preparation of month end management accounting information and support of statutory accounts within compliance requirements.
  • Preparation of budget, and review and analysis of financial performance against budget, including preparation of reports. Provide accurate and insightful information to drive and improve business decisions to ensure the business meets the annual operatingplan.
  • Support forecasting requirements.
  • Responsibility for general ledger and balance sheet reconciliations
  • Costing, related to bills of materials and stock management.
  • Ensure all statutory returns are completed and submitted in line with local legislation.
  • Supervision of VAT and Intrastat returns for HMRC.
  • Responsible for audit liaison, answering queries an implementing actions as required.

Requirements to be successful as a Finance Manager:

  • Chartered level qualified accountant (ACA, ACCA, CIMA), ideally with experience of manufacturing environment.
  • Able to demonstrate strong technical accounting competency along with operational business experience and commercial acumen.
  • Up to date with IFRS accounting standards and able to produce accurate and timely accounts that meet local statutory requirements as well as group needs.
  • Strong IT system knowledge, ideally experience of MS Navision with proven ability in delivering insightful analysis.
  • Great communication skills with the ability to lead and inspire.
  • Experience of product costing and stock management.
  • Able to produce annual budgets and forecasts with the ability to add value to the business operating plan.
  • Able to travel within the UK, full driving license required.
