Smart Teachers is looking to appoint a 1:1 Teaching Assistant to join a supportive school in Clapham.


About the role -Role begins ASAP on a full-time basis and is for the duration of the academic year.

  • As a 1:1 TA, you will be required to communicate effectively and work in partnership with Class Teacher to implement KS1/KS2 Primary Curriculum.
  • SEN TA will support children 11 or on a small group basis, as well as fulfill break and lunchtime duties.

Requirements To be considered for the role of SEN Teaching Assistant - Clapham you will:

  • Hold enhanced DBS or be willing to obtain one
  • Experience as support staff within a primary setting (SEN desirable)
Salary is dependent on experience, training or qualifications.

The minimum experience, training or qualifications required for this position are:


  • Hold enhanced DBS or be willing to obtain one
  • Communicate effectively with both pupils and class teacher
