Description

Are you an experienced receptionist / clerical officer looking for a change? If so we are looking for people with excellent communication skills to join our team to provide a welcoming reception service in our hospital and health centres.

Some of the posts available now are as follows:

25 hours (Monday
Friday at Adamson Hospital, Cupar
2 x 25 hours (Monday Friday / / at St Andrews Community Hospital, St Andrews
22.5 hours (Monday Friday at Skeith Health Centre, Anstruther

You should possess a good level of English and have a good working knowledge of Microsoft Office. Experience of Trakcare and appointment systems would be advantageous but training will be provided. Excellent communication, organisational and interpersonal skills are essential. You should have the ability to prioritise and deal with a day to day workload using your own initiative. You should be able to remain calm and work well under pressure.

We are looking for an applicant who is friendly, flexible, hardworking and empathetic who is able to respond well to patients and use their initiative to achieve good patient care.

Applicants should be flexible and willing to work in other areas as required to ensure service cover. Previous NHS or related experience preferred but not essential as full training will be provided.

Please note the salary for this post is pro rata to part time hours.
