SELF EMPLOYED ROLE - PAY CAN BE HAPPILY DISCUSSED.

This is a hands on role working solely with the assistance of the wider team.

A positive can do attitude is a must along with efficiency and a professional demour as you will be dealing with our tenants directly.

Must be calm and deliver empathy as may deal with stressful situations such as lack of electricity, burst drain etc.

Responsible for the maintenance and upkeep of the George Estates site locations consisting of Malmesbury, Marlborough, Tetbury and Chippenham.

Support and reporting primarily to the Site Manager but also to helpthe Operations Manager on larger projects.

Responsible for handyman, repair, landscaping & decorating jobs.

Knowledge and capability of basic electric, carpentry, drainage and plumbing tasks.

Responsible for supporting your site manager in routine H&S checks including emergency light testing, fire alarm tests and evacuations.

Occasionally assist in recording quarterly meter reads.

Conduct & record routine monthly maintenance checks per site.

Must be aware of and comply with all H&S regulations and good work practices.

Must be available for emergency site call outs.

Own van and tools must be provided along with personal public liability insurance.

George Estates is a small friendly business needing a reliable person on the ground to undertake our maintenance works.
