Nursery Assistant - Feltham

The School:

A primary school for children with severe or profound and multiple learning difficulties, some of whom also have an additional diagnosis of autism
Cater for children from 3 to 11 years old
OSTED 'Good' rated school
Currently 198 pupils on roll across both of their sites
Celebrate each child's unique abilities and achievements in a creative and supportive environment

The Role:

As a Nursery Assistant, you will need to establish good relationships with pupils, acting as a role model and being aware of and responding appropriately to individual needs
Promote the inclusion and acceptance of pupils
Support the teacher in managing pupil behaviour, reporting difficulties as appropriate
Prepare classroom as directed for lessons and clear afterwards and assist with the display of pupil's work
Encourage pupils to interact with others and engage in activities led by the teacher

Requirements:

Available to work 08:30 to 16:30, Monday to Friday
Recent experience working with children in a school or alternate setting
Must have a willingness to help with pupils' personal needs.
Have previous experience working with SEN children ideally
Either live in Feltham or within a commutable distance

Pay rate is dependent on qualifications, experience and skills.
