Description

We are recruiting for a Legal Assistant to join our successful Serious Injury team in Birmingham.

Supporting the wider team, we are looking for those who can produce file and telephone notes and court documents.

The successful applicant will also be responsible for preparing and calculating figures for costs update letters and opening new matters.

Other duties would include producing welcome packs, time recording and indexing documents.

Alongside this, there will also be times where conferences with experts will need to be arranged, with booking travel/accommodation and courses for fee earners.

Previous experience within personal injury would be desired but not essential.

There will also be a billing element to the role, checking disbursements, chasing invoices and dealing with account queries, therefore good organisational and IT skills would be required.
