Room Leader
Veritas Education are recruiting for a Room Leader to a run in the nursery as well as their own team of Early Years Practitioners Are you ready for the next step in your career? Are you ready to be challenged? Are you a hardworking individual with a passionfor working with children?


We want to hear from you
My client is seeking an experienced and motivated Room Leader to work alongside management and lead their own team.

This role requires a strong work ethic ensuring high expectations are being met by your team as well as ensuring the highest standards ofchildcare are being always met, you will also be responsible for having key children, building relationships with parents and colleagues, following observations, and always using the EYO.


Duties:


  • To plan and prepare activities relating to children's interests and abilities.
  • To work closely as a team, with an emphasis on promoting partnership with parents.
  • To monitor and record each individual child's progress.
  • To monitor and support your team within the setting.
  • To monitor developments in Health and Safety and Safeguarding Children.
  • To be a reflective practitioner having an input into quality improvement processes.

You will need:


  • One years' experience in an educational setting
  • Experience in a leadership role (desirable)
  • Level 3 qualification or a degree in Early Years/Childhood studies
  • A passion for working with children
  • Excellent communication, organisational and interpersonal skills.

APPLICATION REQUIREMENTS FOR VERITAS EDUCATION

  • Your CV must cover the last 10 years of employment history where possible and all employment breaks must be explained
  • You must have legal right to work in the UK
  • You must be willing to attend a registration interview
Veritas Education work with a variety of schools covering a wide geographical area.

We deal with teaching placements at Primary, Secondary and college level as well as support staff positions also within these.
