    Billing Analyst (Qualified Accountant)

    We are seeking a qualified accountant to join our finance operations team in Edinburgh.

    About the Role:

    This is an excellent opportunity for a billing analyst to work with a leading financial services firm on a daily rate contract basis, initially for 6 months.

    Key Responsibilities:

    • Oversee third-party billing processes, including invoice sample checking and journal approvals
    • Perform revenue analytics, analytical reviews, and general ledger reconciliations
    • Assist with audit requests and queries
    • Manage stakeholder relationships, especially with the Client Management Team
    • Support projects and strategic initiatives as needed

    Requirements:

    • Qualified accountant with minimum 3 years of relevant experience, preferably within investment management or financial services
    • Strong written and verbal communication skills
    • Proficiency in financial systems and ERPs (e.g., Oracle)
    • Advanced Excel skills, capable of handling large data sets and complex models
    • Self-driven, ambitious, and willing to challenge the status quo
    • Ability to build relationships with stakeholders and clients
    • Attention to detail and accuracy
