Description

Systematix is currently looking for an_IT Operations Analyst _help with the implementation of a diverse global IT Operations network, for one of the world's leaders in Life Sciences technologies.

ABOUT THE PROJECT

Your responsibilities in the role will be:

Providing technical guidance to users and management for IT related issues and queries
Performing maintenance and troubleshooting of all relevant hardware, software and systems
Performing routine IT operation tasks (ex: backups)
Configuration, installation & deployment of IT equipment and related peripherals
Ensuring appropriate IT related procedures are enforced
Identifying opportunities and recommend solutions for improving service, efficiency and effectiveness
Logging into and using telephone and computer based Service Desk system to record all support activities
Logging into and providing support to the IT Hotline
Contributing to meeting the departmental key performance indicators
Providing training to end user community as required

ABOUT THE QUALIFICATIONS

Associate's Degree in Information Technology (or equivalent)
Uptodate professional IT certification
3+ year experience of providing end user desktop support
Good knowledge of IT hardware and associated peripherals
Ability to use technical documentation and diagnostic tools to solve hardware and software problems
Ability to work as part of a team
Good judgment and strong analytical skills as well as followup and organizational skills
Strong written and verbal communication skills

ABOUT THE ROLE
This is a 4-month onsite contract role to be performed in the central Wales area. There is a strong possibility of extension for this contract.
