Information Security Specialist and Instructor - Remote, United Kingdom - IT Governance

Are you an Information Security professional who has a passion for training and developing others?
An opportunity has arisen for an Information Security Specialist to plan, build, deliver and improve an industry leading global cyber training portfolio.
You will be responsible for:
- Management and invigilation of course and examinations in accordance with awarding body and IT Governance requirements and standards;
- Promotion of the products and services as appropriate in order to best support delegate and client objectives;
- Work with Sales and Marketing colleagues to optimise course sales;
- Maintain product knowledge and training skills through completing relevant assignments, seeking and learning from best practice, attending industry conferences, appropriate reading, research and development activities, and keeping up to date with essential information as required;
- Lead and Support quality improvement initiatives across all training courses including ensuring courseware is up to date, supporting trainer development and being a champion for the quality process;
- Complete all process and administrative tasks as required;
- Support the Training Division with the business plan objectives where possible outside of the above requirements;
- Occasional management and delivery of endtoend projects including production of highlevel reports and security documentation, in order to maintain a good working knowledge;
- Development of cyber security strategies for clients as and when needed;
- Meeting expectations and demands of clients and senior stakeholders;
- Work to predetermined instructions, process or procedures as required.
To be successful in this role you will:
- Be passionate about building and delivering high-quality training and solutions, exceeding delegate and client expectations;
- Have an engaging teaching style, enabling you to effectively facilitate a class;
- Understand how to manage and adapt to meet delegates' needs, including using evaluation techniques to assess learning progress;
- Be able to positively engage the audience and empower individuals to contribute to the training experience;
- Hold relevant qualifications such as ISO27001, CISSP, CISA or CISM.
