Description
A fantastic opportunity has recently opened for a Stores operative in the Euxton area.


Key Roles & Responsibilities:


  • Receiving all deliveries and checking goods are received in sufficient quantities and to the correct specifications.
  • Storing goods received appropriately and resolving discrepancies in the delivery of goods.
  • Collating/Dispatching of goods from the stores to various sites, via support drivers.
  • Keeping detailed records of goods ordered/received.
  • Book in goods and materials in against Purchase Orders/ BOM
  • Working with others to safely offload large items via telehandler.
  • Ensuring stock is stored correctly.
  • Ensure correct stock levels are upheld.
  • Quarantine noncompliant items.
  • Ensure all equipment and PPE complies to the relevant legislation and in stock.
  • Ensure good housekeeping is kept of all store's areas.
  • Report non conformities.

Essential experience:

  • Experience in a similar role in the utilities industry.
  • Competent user of computers & Microsoft Office programmes.
  • Experienced driving Telehandlers.
  • Ability to communicate at all levels.
  • Full UK Driving Licence
  • Class 2 License (desirable)
Salary dependent on experience


Schedule:

  • Monday to Friday

Ability to commute/relocate:

  • Chorley: reliably commute or plan to relocate before starting work (required)

Experience:


  • Warehouse experience: 2 years (preferred)

Licence/Certification:

  • Driving Licence (preferred)
