Job Description Leeds Parcel Company is experiencing growth which has opened up new opportunities for experienced Night
FLT Driver / Supervisor to join us in Leeds. This is a permanent role.

Leeds Parcel Company is a logistics company specialising in the overnight delivery of both parcels and pallets throughout Leeds and Harrogate Key areas of responsibility:
Working closely with other Supervisors, to ensure adequate cover for each shift. Reporting any defects, and H&S concerns in daily handovers.

Ensuring shift goals are achieved on daily basis. Loading and unloading of vehicles. Ensuring all the discrepancies for incorrectly manifested freight are reported. Preparing and loading the freight for the drivers runs, ensuring the vehicles are turned around in a timely manner. Maintain general tidiness and standards within the warehouse and yard areas. Ensuring Site rules are followed by all visitors and employees to site. Capitalising on the efficiency of the operation by ensuring drivers are leaving the yard according to their matrix.

Previous Supervisor/Management experience working in a similar role is required, together with being a holder of a relevant driving licence for the category of vehicle.

The ability to work to tight deadlines and work on own initiative is key for this role, good organisation skills and the ability to deal with team members in a professional manner.

Taking ownership to fulfil all obligations to our partners.

Hours: 23:00 - 09:00 Sunday night - Thursday night.
