Job description:
We have an immediate vacancy for a Plant & Transport Administrator. This is a very exciting role that works with the Senior Management Team and the Operations Division.

Responsibilities:
Filing and checking Daily walk around sheets from drivers.
Reacting to phone calls when new tyres/punctures or breakdowns happen.
Keeping track of MOT dates and Tax dates off the tracker.
Organise repairs of plant on vehicles, i.e., grabs, vac-ex's etc.
Keeping track of 6 weekly inspections for HGV's,
Updating ABAX tracker system
Adding and taking off vehicles on 'O'-licence on a weekly basis.
Dealing with accidents, liaise with Insurance and broker for claims. Booking vans for accident damage repair.
Filing 6 weekly inspection sheets into folders both electronically and hard copy.
Answering phones, dealing with general enquires and transport queries.
Checking driving licences.
Dealing with Speeding fines.
Creating fuel reports.
Raise new Purchase Orders (PO) and ensure Delivery Notes (DN) are received in a timely manner and, they also match PO.
Manage Defects in Plant & Equipment and arrange prompt replacements/repairs.
Key Skills/Attributes/Qualifications:
Minimum 2-years previous experience in Plant and/or Transport Administration.
Ability to use your own initiative, be self-motivated and a proactive individual.
Good time management and communication skills.
An excellent negotiator and able to maintain positive, proactive and professional working relationships with Management and Suppliers.
Able to use Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, Outlook etc.).
