An ISO accredited Manufacturer of Healthcare Products is looking for a Compliance and Quality Control Manager as part of their growth to join its new premises in Milton Keynes.

This is a full time onsite role working from their calm and newly furbishedoffice.
As a Compliance and Quality Control Manager, you will:

  • Manage all the quality compliance activities
  • Identify the lack of and/or improvements to policy and process, assess effectiveness of current policies and processes and recommend and implement required changes
  • Interpret new or updated regulations and guidelines, policies, and procedures as necessary and provide interpretation and consultation to your colleagues regarding these topics
  • Take responsibility for the preparation and conduct of all ISO audit processes
  • Oversee preparation of technical file for MDR compliance along with external Consultant

The role will also involve:

Quality Control:


  • Developing and establishing the Company's procedures, standards, and specifications
  • Gap analysis to identify key areas of improvement
  • Setting standards for and taking ownership of QC as well as health and safety across the business
  • Identifying ways to reduce waste and increase efficiency

Compliance:


  • Taking accountability for creating both longterm and shortterm plans to ensure that no illegal activities occur across the business
  • Conducting interviews and surveys to ensure that employees are compliant with regulations across the Company's various departments
  • Conducting investigations to discover the root cause of problems when they arise
  • Taking ownership of the management of products that require CE certification
The successfulCompliance and Quality Control Manager will have the following skills and experience:

  • Proven experience in ISO 13485 for Medical Devices
  • Demonstrable experience in General ISO Certificates and Compliance and Quality System Management
  • Previous product management experience
  • Experience of working with ISO certification and documentation
  • Quality Assurance background and some specific experience of working with medical devices
  • Strong attention to detail
  • Proven experience in a controlled environment of document checking and review
  • Ability to prioritise, time manage and prioritise own workload effectively
In return you will receive a salary of £40,000 to £42,000 pa.
