Description

An opportunity has arisen for the role of Internal Logistics Coordinator to become an integral member of our Warehouse team.

The main purpose of this role is to provide efficient & effective receipt & storage of raw materials, finished goods, soiled & clean packaging.

Also, to ensure an effective supply of clean packaging to our Liquid Production department & transfer of finished goods from our Liquid production department to our distribution warehouse.

Main Duties

Promoting a safety first culture for warehouse & distribution operations.
Ensuring the warehouse department is represented in a professional manner.
Attending monthly Business Improvement Meetings in order to contribute to business & process improvement.
Embracing the 5S methodology.
Receiving deliveries of raw materials & finished goods, unloading & storing using Forklift trucks.
Receiving deliveries of soiled packaging & ensuring these are sent away to launder in a timely manner.
Maintaining stock levels of clean packaging for our Liquid Production Department.
Transferring finished goods from our Liquid Production Department to our Distribution warehouse.
Entering purchase receipts onto Navision software.
Providing an efficient & effective service to our Logistics department.
Communicating effectively with the rest of the team & other stakeholders.
Assisting & providing cover for colleagues.
Assisting the Team Leader & Deputy in providing warehouse data.
