Description

Job Purpose:
Operative to work with our team of personnel on both domestic and commercial contracts throughout the North-West of England.

Immediate start

Duties (training and supervision will be given):

Grounds maintenance works on both commercial and domestic contracts
Landscape construction hard and soft landscape
Soft landscaping construction work including planting of trees, shrubs, beds and borders; seeding, turfing, practical gardening tasks, pest and disease control, weed control.
Communicate with manager and colleagues
Communicate with key client staff and external contractors where necessary.
Maintain a positive and professional approach
Compliance with statutory regulations including H & S regulations
Use own initiative to satisfy client contracted needs
Solve problems in a safe manner and escalate any necessary issue to the Line Manager

Skills/Qualifications:

Interest in landscaping and horticulture
Selfmotivated and good work ethic
Willingness to learn new skills
Physically fit
Good interpersonal skills
Team worker

Other information
- the base is in the countryside outside Alderley Edge and is not easily accessible by public transport

Job Types:
