Sanctuary Health is currently looking for a dedicated Cognitive Behavioural Therapist to work full-time based in Hale.The salary for this Cognitive Behavioural Therapist job is £38,000-44,000 per annum and is a permanent contract.
Main Duties:
- Manage an assigned caseload within agreed timescales ensuring regular interaction and communication with clients, professional colleagues and clinical staff
- Receive and respond promptly to referrals undertaking assessments to determine and plan an effective therapy programme for assigned clients using appropriate and relevant treatments, activities and interventions
- Facilitates individual and group therapy sessions within the given field of therapy ensuring activities and interventions continue to meet the needs of the client, and are consistent with the provisions detailed in the client's therapy plan
- Maintain accurate and uptodate records in the form of case notes, case files, clinical reports
Requirements of the Cognitive Behavioural Therapist:
- To be eligible for this role, you must be an accredited CBT therapist registered with the BABCP and have recent CBT experience or an HCPC registered Psychologist.
- Be interested in dynamic therapy with clients who are motivated to change.
- Have experience of and actively use DBT skills & techniques
- Have previous experience in the area of acute mental health
- Be skilled in the facilitation of a range of group interventions.
- Have a relevant qualification in Psychology
