Description

Experienced Groundworks Foreman required for a large construction project in Dundee for a leading contractor.

Overseeing drainage and concrete works you will be a key part of the site management team from inception to completion of the project.

Responsibilities:

Oversee and manage construction projects from start to finish
Coordinate and schedule daily activities of construction workers and subcontractors
Ensure compliance with project plans, specifications, and safety regulations
Conduct regular site inspections to monitor progress and quality control
Collaborate with architects, engineers, and other stakeholders to resolve any issues or concerns
Review and interpret blueprints, schematics, and construction documents
Estimate project costs and prepare budgets
Track project expenses and ensure adherence to budgetary constraints

Skills:

Strong leadership and management abilities
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
Proficient in reading and interpreting blueprints, schematics, and construction documents
Knowledge of construction estimating techniques and software
Attention to detail and ability to maintain highquality standards
Strong problemsolving skills and ability to make decisions under pressure
Familiarity with safety regulations and procedures in the construction industry

Job Types:
Full-time, Permanent, Temporary contract, Fixed term contract

Contract length: 18 months

Salary:
£45,000.00-£50,000.00 per year
