This is a chance to join a well known supplier of ingredients to the food and drink industry. The business have a reputation for high quality and export across the world.

This role is part of their strategic restructure of the Procurement department.

The Role:

Deliver an operational sourcing process.
Purchase specified goods and services to ensure a robust supply chain and minimise risk.
To rationalise supply base, reducing the amount and negotiating preferable terms with increased supply.
Negotiate with suppliers to ensure materials of the right quality are delivered at the right time and at the best price.
To identify potential sourcing improvement projects and effectively project manage these through to completion.
Experience working in a Buying position within food ingredients, aromachemicals or similar.
Good understanding of ERP/MRP systems.
Experience of international sourcing would be ideal.
CIPS Level 4 is desirable.

Salary:
£30,000.00-£50,000.00 per year
