We are seeking a Night Porter to join our team at the Holiday Inn Telford-Ironbridge.

Offering exceptional customer service you will be responsible for the security of hotel guests and the property as a whole.

You must be able to think quickly to resolve any guest enquiries whilst offering a professional and excellent friendly service.

This role is being offered on an as and when required basis.

Whilst the role is based mainly at the Holiday Inn you may be required to work at the 2 other hotels (in central Telford) within the wider Southwater Event Group from time to time.

Responsibilities include:

Assist on reception, bar and food and beverage/conference areas as required
Carry out security checks
Programme accurate guest wake up calls
Prepare breakfast trays
In the Night Managers/Supervisors absence, complete the end of day task list and the night audit
Handle any staff and guest issue/emergency effectively

Skills/Experience Required:

Able to demonstrate a proven track record in a customer service role.
Excellent communication skills with the ability to deal with a wide range of internal and external contacts.
Experience using OPERA would be beneficial but not essential as full training will be given.
Selfmotivated with the drive and energy to see a task through to completion.
Excellent IT skills basic proficiency in Microsoft Office.
