Overview

2fawcett have an exciting opportunity for a Technical Desk Manager to join our long-standing client in Derby, on a full time, permanent basis.

Reporting to the CEO, you will support business growth opportunities and implement your Technical Expertise withinCloud and similar technologies.

Responsibilities of the Technical Desk Manager:

  • Responsible for managing operations of the Service Desks and help the teams
develop.

  • Reporting to the Chief Operations Officer
  • Ensure the right conditions and motivation for good teamwork across the teams in
several locations.

  • Establish professional relationships with clients.
  • Identify and explore opportunities for service and business Improvement.
  • Report on the team's analysis, and Identify any Issues ensuring that the company
provides excellent services to clients.

  • Ensure all services are delivered In line with contractual requirements.
  • Work with senior stakeholders on projects & service development.
  • Ownership of critical service Issues
  • Ensure effective training of team members, Including adoption of new solutions
and/or technology.

  • Assist HR when necessary and ensure all procedures are followed.
  • Be aware of and manage the costs of running the service desks.

Requirements of the Technical Desk Manager:

  • You will need to work closely with the Chief Operations Officer to help plan technical elements that effect Business Operations.
  • You will need to possess a proactive approach to resolving disputes in a professional tone, through precise and factbased communication with staff and face to face customers.
  • You will need to be able and willing to sometimes work In a presales capacity.
  • You will need to work closely with senior management team to help develop the Service desk teams.
  • You must have technical experience in one of the following desirable areas: Microsoft SharePoint, M365v and other similar cloud technologies.
  • You will need to have experience In a Managed Services/ITIL based Service Desk environment.
