    Role Overview

    We are seeking an experienced Energy/Electricity Market Modeller with strong understanding of UK and/or European power and energy markets to join our successful Energy & Utilities practice at PA's Economics & Investment Strategy capability.

    You will support our existing client base and contribute to our impressive growth strategy by applying economic principles and the latest analytical methods to develop practical solutions for regulation and policy, business strategy, econometric forecasting, competition policy and more.

    Key Responsibilities

    • Modelling energy systems and markets using PLEXOS and other statistical data analysis and data mining tools such as R, Python, Excel etc.
    • Applying energy economics principles to develop practical solutions for clients
    • Collaborating with colleagues to deliver high-quality results
    • Communicating complex ideas effectively to clients and stakeholders
