About Our Client:

Duties and tasks of the Payroll Officer:

  • Processing end to end payroll for monthly paid employees
  • Looking at contracts and policies, ensuring all legislation is up to date
  • Process pensions inline with pay and benefits liaising with HMRC for any tax and statutory deductions
  • Dealing with sickness, maternity, paternity, shared parental and other statutory requirements
  • Analysis of data in payrolls highlighting any discrepancies of pay and highlight variances
  • Processing all regulatory returns forms including P11Ds, P60s and P45s
  • Analysis and reconciliation of pay, benefits and control accounts
  • Ensuring salaries and overtime hours are correct and ensure all had been inputted correctly

The Successful Applicant:

To be successful in the role you will have:

  • Demonstrable experience in payroll and the ability to process monthly end to end payrolls
  • Proven ability to analyse processes and use initiative to improve processes
