What the role involves:


  • Understand the vision and brand message for the practice
  • Front of house and receptionist duties; telephone management including booking and rescheduling appointments
  • Processing payments and recording daily takings
  • Opening and closing the practice
  • Provide outstanding customer service at all times, deal with patient objections effectively and efficiently
  • Follow all practice systems and procedures
  • Any other ad hoc responsibilities as reasonably requested

Responsibilities:


  • Responsible for front of house and receptionist duties and delegating tasks appropriately
  • Overseeing the full remit of reception and coordinating with associated team members
  • Confident telephone management including booking and rescheduling appointments
  • Timely administration including collecting consent and medical history forms
  • First class patient care with the utmost care, skill and attention to detail
  • Forward planning diaries for Clinicians
  • Processing payments and recording daily takings
  • Opening and closing the practice
  • Supporting the Practice Manager with various tasks

  • Normal working hours Monday
  • Friday between 8.45am 5.30pm with 1 hour for lunch
  • Occasional Saturday mornings and early/late finishes by arrangement

Qualifications / Knowledge / Skills

  • Confident using Microsoft Office Suite for preparing treatment plan letters etc.
  • Knowledge of and proficient user of 'Systems for Dentists (SFD)' beneficial
  • Able to work autonomously and diligently
