Our manufacturing Client is seeking aProcurement Administrator to work within their Buying department - full training given.
This role is offered as a permanent full-time position.
Location:
Near Dartford
Hours: 9am to 5pm, Monday to Friday - no hybrid working available
start time is flexible e.g. 8am start
Benefits include: 25 days annual leave, pension, free parking
Salary:
from £22,000 to £25,000 + pa
salary will be determined by experience / skill level
The purpose of the
Procurement Administrator Buyer role is to complete supporting duties to the Buyers:
Procurement Administrator - EDUCATION/EXPERIENCE REQUIREMENTS:
- A good standard of secondary education preferably to A' Level.
- Ideally 6 months relevant office experience
- Ability to communicate at all levels.
- Strong mathematical, admin and negotiation skills.
- Ability to work under pressure and to tight deadlines.
- Computer literate including Word, Excel, PDF Writer.
- Accurate with excellent attention to detail
- Hands On approach to all tasks.
Procurement Administrator MAIN RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Processing purchase order acknowledgements and advise relevant personnel when problems arise.
- Run various reports to define weekly exceptions i.e., late order and open order reports.
- Implement Vendor Master Datacleanse.
- Assisting other members of the department with procurement as and when required.
- Assist Purchasing Manager and undertake office duties as required.
