Purchase and Sales Ledger Controller

£20,000 - £26,000 Prorated
I've partnered with a leading innovative manufacturing company based in Skelmersdale, a business who has a passion to strive and achieve the highest standards possible
As purchase ledger and sales controller, you'll support the Finance Department through a period of change by managing the cashbook, accounts receivable, accounts payable, fixed asset and nominal account ledgers.
Liaise with the Group Finance and HR functions.
Duties and responsibilities
- Accurate management of all ledgers and areas of responsibility (cashbook, accounts receivable, accounts payable, fixed asset register, nominal ledger)
- Bank Reconciliation
- Balance sheet reconciliations on a monthly basis
- Recharge invoices between different sites
- Ad hoc reporting as required
Skills and Experience
Minimum level 3 AAT qualified
Minimum 3 years' experience working in a Finance Department
AR and AP experience
Nominal Ledger experience
Excellent Excel skills
ERP system experience
Good communication skills
Excellent attention to detail
