ORTUS RECRUITMENT_ would like to present an fulfilling opportunity for a recent graduate or an experienced educator to be at the fore-front of children's learning and development. Working as a Learning Support Assistant in a lovely Primary School in the heart of Barnet.


The is a KS1 Learning Support Assistant role in which you will be responsible for providing 1:1 support for children with Special Educational Needs.

You will work with these students to aid in their academic, social and emotional development and confidently lead numeracy and literacy interventions to raise attainment.


The school is located in Edgware - a bustling town with a wide variety of shops, restaurants and other amenities.

It is also home to a number of leisure facilities, including Edgware Leisure Centre, which has a swimming pool, gym and sports hall.


The school itself is Ofsted rated 'Outstanding' and is well known within the community for its wonderful reputation and welcoming students.


The successful individual will:


  • Be assertive, patient and motivating
  • Manage behaviour effectively
  • Promote positive social, emotional and personal development
  • Have experience working with children with SEN
  • Have a strong academic background
  • Level 3 qualified or Degree educated
  • Strong literacy and numeracy skills

Unqualified Learning Support Assistant | Edgware | ASAP start

Salary:
£75.00-£90.00 per day

Ability to commute/relocate:

  • Edgware: reliably commute or plan to relocate before starting work (required)

Experience:


  • Special education: 1 year (preferred)
  • KS1: 1 year (preferred)
