Sports Coach (Vacancy 1)

Sport 4 Life UK is looking for an enthusiastic individual to deliver sports sessions for young people (aged 11-29 years) across a variety of community and school settings.

To support the delivery of sports and training sessions for disadvantaged 'In Learning' and NEET, inactive and unemployed young people within S4L delivery areas.
To support delivery against S4L's internal Delivery Frameworks inclusive of sports, qualification and employability curriculum's
To support recruitment of young people both internally and externally to S4L sports and training sessions
To support the achievement of S4L's retention targets around sign up, attendance and completion

Youth Engagement Officers (Vacancy 2 )

Job description

Chaperoning young people along identified school routes in Solihull after school in order to build relationships with young people, offer a point of safety and reduce and diffuse any incidents or rising community tensions.

Delivering a weekly after school engagement sessions within the identified school routeMaintaining and developing relationships with at-risk young people (specifically those engaging in ASB and criminal activity)Safeguarding leads within the school setting, West Midlands Police, the VRU and external referral organisations that support young people with specific or acute needs
Person specification

Essential:

1 year+ experience of working with young people 111 Genuine interest in the charity sector and/or the youth education sector
Experience of recruiting hardtoreach young people to youth programmes
Experience building and maintaining partnerships
Ability and confidence to work alone and within a team
Qualification and/ or CPD in criminal justice sector

Desirable:

Experience of delivering crime reduction interventions to young people
Experience of delivering quality IAG services
Understanding the differing cultural and economic background of local communities within the West Midlands
Working within criminal justice sector
Experience of deliver sport & physical activity sessions

Job Type:
Zero hours contract

Salary:
£15.00-£17.00 per hour
