Location**:
UK (Remote-first with occasional travel to London required).

RegPlatform is a technology platform that streamlines regulatory change management. It provides firms with a one-stop, continuously maintained inventory of global regulations, with effortless horizon scanning, integration capabilities and workflow management. RegPlatform combines industry leading AI technology with expert validated insights to simplify the complexities of multi-jurisdictional regulatory content.


Role mission:


To maintain authentic, current and accurate information about issuing bodies, laws and regulations that specify requirements for businesses in your assigned jurisdictions.


Responsibilities:


  • Identify official, publicly available, online sources for law and regulation and news about regulatory change
  • Identify key metadata for law and regulation such as citation, effective date and status
  • Monitor law and regulations for updates
  • Translate law and regulation into English using a combination of machine translation, QA checks and corrections
  • As assigned by Research Team Lead:
a) Match or source against customer requirements
b) Match or source against new and existing customer requirements that Services Research cannot match
c) Update testing.
d) Broken link fixing.
e) Translation correction.
f) Queries and issue response


What we're looking for**:


  • Good research skills within legal/regulatory/compliance with an ability to analyse and interpret complex information.
  • Ability to communicate clearly and concisely in written and spoken English (UK).
  • Ability to observe strict confidentiality.
  • Proven team skills.
  • At least one fluent second language in:
  • Portuguese
  • Norwegian
  • Danish
  • Swedish
- (Desirable) Knowledge of legal citation, concepts & terminology, and law-making and publishing processes.
- (Desirable) Legal qualification.
- (Desirable) Experience working in the Financial Services sector.
- (Desirable) Multiple fluent second languages.
