South East London with Depot in Peckham
Hyde is looking to recruit an Electrical Trade Supervisor.

Hyde is one of the UK's leading Housing Associations, with more than 50,000.

As an Electrical Trade Supervisor at Hyde, you will be responsible for ensuring that we provide all our customers with a safe and decent home.

The homes that you will be responsible for will be within Southeast London/Kent Borders. You will be one of the NIC qualifying supervisors, monitoring and auditing the work undertaken by electricians.


Key Responsibilities of a Trade Supervisor:

  • Assume responsibility for the safety, technical standards, and overall quality of the Electrical Work carried out under your supervision.
  • Investigate and respond to customer concerns and issues.
  • Ensure the proper documentation of inspection and testing results on the appropriate certification and reporting forms, and reviewing and confirming the acceptability of recorded outcomes.
  • Responsible for carrying out pre and post electrical inspections to agreed levels.
  • End to end people management ensuring we have the right people, in the right place, doing the right job, to ensure that we exceed our customers' expectations every day.
  • Undertake monthly review meetings with your team.
  • Responsible for ensuring health and safety processes and standards are adhered to at all times.

Skills and Experience Required

  • Residential electrical experience needed.
  • Trade Supervisor experience
  • Essential requirement 18th Edition, City and Guilds Parts 1, 2 and 2330 level 3 or equivalent.
  • Essential requirement 2391 Test & Inspection levels
