Digital Skills Tutor

If you:

I am currently working with a key client, based in Peterborough. They are a fast-growing training provider in the UK. Working with over 10,000 learners per year, and rated as 'Good' by Ofsted, they have a great reputation.

As a result of growth, they are now looking to bring on a Digital IT Skills Tutor based in Peterborough.

The tutor will work alongside learners that are not in employment, to help them upskill and take the next steps in their chosen career path.

The Tutor will work to deliver 3-Week Training programs based around Digital Skills, including games design, cyber, networking and IT support.

- £30,000 - £35,000

    Key Duties of the Digital Skills Tutor:
  • Deliver engaging learning programmes in order to support learners towards their qualification in Digital IT Skills, which includes Digital Product Design
  • Use and develop a wide range of resources and techniques, tailored to learners' individual needs.
  • Observe and review work produced by learners to ensure it is of the appropriate standard to reflect the learner's qualification and meet the needs of the qualification.
  • Provide insightful, constructive, and informative feedback to help the learner maximise their potential.
  • Proactively monitor, evaluate, and improve the quality and effectiveness of own workload and working practices to ensure deadlines and targets are met and that the learner has an outstanding experience.
  • Organise and maintain documentation on learners' progress
  • Visit and observe learners in their place of work to support and gather evidence

Skills, Knowledge, and Experience required for the Digital Skills Tutor:

  • An enthusiastic and engaging personality in order to help deliver the most impactful training sessions to learners.
  • Teaching Qualification (PTLLS, AET, PGCE or equivalent) or willing to work towards.
  • Experience in delivering training and coaching sessions to learners.
  • Ability to demonstrate up to date vocational competence, alongside sector knowledge in Digital IT Skills.
  • Knowledge of Digital Skills, Games Design, Web, Graphic or Visual Design.
