Location:
Hybrid Working 2 days per week in the office (London)


Salary from:
£40k per annum + enhanced maternity/ paternity and sick pay+ further fantastic benefits package

About the Role

Responsibilities involve:


  • Playing an active role in the delivery of an annual Clean Energy and Consulting Group Plan
  • Marketing the relevant services of the company
  • Being exemplar in client management and relationship building
  • Conducting research and provide guidance to clients
  • Keeping abreast of current legislation, relevant national and international standards and guidelines and technical developments within the relevant field
  • Responding to requests from client work and proposals
  • Operating in line with Bureau Veritas Core Values and Code of Ethics
  • Assisting in the delivery of projects on time and to budget; to manage resources in the delivery of the projects; to participate in regular project reviews
  • Following all financial procedures in the delivery of projects
  • Providing high quality technical consultancy to clients and team members within the Consulting Group
  • Ensure the use of the Consulting Group technical tools and methodologies in delivery of projects to the standard set
  • Drafting technical consultancy documents
  • Adhering to site safety practices where site work is undertaken
  • Contributing to a rolling forward Consulting Group forecast to provide visibility of future work load
  • Monitoring individual utilisation versus targets and activity manage optimal utilisation
  • Monitoring and reporting on KPIs specified by the Consulting Group Manager
  • Contributing to support team working
  • Ensuring full implementation and use of the competency framework

_Desirable Skills_:


  • Relevant experience and qualification in ergonomics or human factors
  • Relevant experience in the energy industry including offshore experience with experience in maintaining a human focus HSE standards.
  • Relevant experience with operational excellence (6sigma, lean or kaizen) methodologies
  • Relevant experience or understanding from the fields of resilience engineering, safety II, human organisational performance and safety culture.
  • Experience with project management methodologies

Essential Qualifications

  • Relevant qualification in occupational safety & health, human factors, engineering, and psychology.

  • Lead Auditor ISO standards (ISO 45001 and 14001)
