    Reputable Specialist Contractor seeks an Intermediate QS in Central London.

    About the Role

    We are seeking a skilled Intermediate Quantity Surveyor to provide commercial support, including:

    • Developing commercial strategy for specific projects
    • Maintaining and maximising profitability through timely payment requests and cost minimisation
    • Agreeing variations and securing payments at the right time
    • Accurate reporting

    Your Responsibilities

    You will:

    • Have a strong commercial awareness and understanding of contracts within the construction industry
    • Create, review, and manage tender documentation, contracts, and formal notices
    • Demonstrate professional determination and commercial acumen
    • Negotiate and resolve effectively
    • Independently undertake key activities and liaise with peers, customers, site managers, engineers, and suppliers
    • Represent project status at meetings and present commercial risks and opportunities
    • Input data into financial systems and assist with final accounts

    Requirements

    The ideal candidate has a degree in Quantity Surveying and 2-3 years' experience working with a Drylining Contractor. You must be determined, hardworking, organised, and comfortable in a competitive environment.
