Our client is a progressive manufacturing business that specialise in advanced engineering and machining solutions for the automotive and Motorsport industry. They are looking for an experiencedProduction Engineer to join their fabricationteam, ideally with strong tig welding, project management and costings experience.

Production Engineer

Working closely with the senior management team to lead and develop the fabrication department including, project support, general build and supporting the workshop.
Supporting the strategic planning, development, and investment plans within the department.
Enhancing the departments capabilities through investigating new techniques and methods, in addition to continuous improvement activities.
Providing cost estimations for internal and external work activities within the fabrication department.
Liaising with external customers, providing manufacturing solutions to meet or exceed customer expectations.
Creating parts, Routings and BOMs in addition to being responsible for all components manufactured within the department including development of both Routings and BOMs.
Assisting with purchasing when required
Developing the operational budget for the production area
Ensuring all activities are compliant regarding health and safety, ISO 9001 & ISO 14001.
