Key Responsibilities & Accountabilities

This role is responsible for:


  • Design, develop and enhance the Leading Global Fixed Income etrading platform for institutional investors
  • Be part of a scrum team comprised of skilled technology professionals with the goal to revolutionize the credit and corporate bond markets
  • Innovate and transform business ideas into highly utilized features and services for our customers
  • Implement and support products/initiatives from infancy to maturity
  • Develop APIs in microservices and/or eventdriven architecture

General Support Responsibilities Include:


  • Production support, including investigating and fixing production issues

Person Specification

Knowledge/Experience

  • 10+ years of enterprise software development using Java
  • Strong knowledge and handson experience of Java 11 or higher versions and functional programming.
  • Event driven programming expertise especially Kafka
  • Familiarity with streaming technologies such as Kafka Streams/Flink is desirable.
  • Expertise developing Microservices especially Spring Boot.
  • Excellent AWS handson experience including deployment processes.
  • Experience with low latency, highvolume transactional systems
  • Docker, CI/CD experience, TDD and JUnit
  • Working within (and knowledge of) the financial industry and FIX Protocol is a bonus.
