Excellent career opportunity for an HR professional to join a medium-sized law firm based in the heart of the City.

Would suit an HR Officer or experienced HR Assistant looking to move up a level. Salary £40-45k.


Our client, a successful and fast-growing medium-sized law firm in London, is seeking an HR Coordinator to join their team.

Reporting to the Head of HR, the role offers plenty of variety and includes Absence management eg holidays and sickness

  • Collating monthly information for passing to the outsourced payroll provider
  • Arranging inductions, exit interviews, appraisals
  • Arranging interviews
  • Issuing Offer Letters, Contracts of Employment
  • New joiners and leavers process
  • Updating HR system
  • Reference checking, DBS checks
  • Organising internal and external training
  • Renewing Practising Certificates for Lawyers
  • Supervision of support team (Receptionists, Post Room and Archiving)
  • Liaising with the Managing Partner on a regular basis
  • Assisting with qualification process for Lawyers including reviews and seat rotations
  • Supporting the Head of HR in all aspects of HR administration and coordination
Law firm experience is essential for this role.

You will ideally have a University degree and/or a minimum of 2 years' experience in a law firm, either in HR or a different role but a keen interest in HR as a career.

The role requires somebody who is numerate,able to work to a high degree of accuracy and who has excellent communication skills both verbal and written.

The hours are 9.30am to 5.30pm. Salary £40-45k depending on experience. Friendly, supportive team environment.
