We are currently recruiting for Assembly Operatives in Ipswich.

Hours are Monday-Friday, 6am-2pm.

This is a trainee role, and full training will be provided.

Pay will initially be £9.75 per hour, however would be potential to increase.

Main Responsibilities

Work as a team to achieve customer quality, delivery and cost requirements.
Read, interpret and follow design, diagrams, engineering drawings, specifications, bills of materials and other written instructions or procedures to accurately assemble equipment and products.
Follow instruction from Supervisors and leadership team relating to allocated works and Health & Safety and environmental standards.
Use handheld tools safely as well as the use and safe operation of electrical equipment where trained and / or qualified.
Performing brazing (where qualified), in line with safe working practises.
Maintain inventory of product in workstations follow allocated works and job packs and complete on time as instructed.
Perform quality work checks to ensure the product meets quality standards prior to testing.
Identify product defects and complete appropriate documentation or report when defects are identified.
Rework and/or repair assembled equipment and products according to engineering specification changes or instruction given.
Perform all work in accordance with quality standards and established safety procedures.
Keep workstation and surrounding area clean and tidy.
Minimise waste to control costs.

Previous experience within a production or warehouse role would be ideal, but not essential as full training will be provided.
