We are currently recruiting for Assembly Operatives in Ipswich.

Hours are Monday-Friday, 6am-2pm.

This is a trainee role, and full training will be provided.

Pay will initially be £9.75 per hour, however would be potential to increase.


Main Responsibilities

  • Work as a team to achieve customer quality, delivery and cost requirements.
  • Read, interpret and follow design, diagrams, engineering drawings, specifications, bills of materials and other written instructions or procedures to accurately assemble equipment and products.
  • Follow instruction from Supervisors and leadership team relating to allocated works and Health & Safety and environmental standards.
  • Use handheld tools safely as well as the use and safe operation of electrical equipment where trained and / or qualified.
  • Performing brazing (where qualified), in line with safe working practises.
  • Maintain inventory of product in workstations follow allocated works and job packs and complete on time as instructed.
  • Perform quality work checks to ensure the product meets quality standards prior to testing.
  • Identify product defects and complete appropriate documentation or report when defects are identified.
  • Rework and/or repair assembled equipment and products according to engineering specification changes or instruction given.
  • Perform all work in accordance with quality standards and established safety procedures.
  • Keep workstation and surrounding area clean and tidy.
  • Minimise waste to control costs.


Previous experience within a production or warehouse role would be ideal, but not essential as full training will be provided.
