40 hours per week on rota system - Salary grade+ £60 per sleep in

Beacon Care is a private organisation that offers high quality residential care for children and young people.
Our therapeutic model is designed to provide a unique, integrated approach to Care, Education, Health and Mental Health supported within a nurturing residential setting.
This allows us to help children build resilience, promote social inclusion, support engagement in the community and educational and vocational activities, promote independence and support children in rehabilitation and recovery amongst other outcomes.
Effectively managing risk is essential to our model of care.You will be supported by a highly experienced management team including a Principal Clinical Psychologist being the Director and Responsible Individual for the home.
We are looking for enthusiastic Childcare Workers to join us who are passionate about making a difference to children's lives.
What is the role?
You will be responsible for actively safeguarding and promoting the wellbeing of the children in the home.
You will be required to promote structure, boundaries and routines and support young people with their education and with their day-to-day activities.
You will work as part of a team to create a homely, warm, kind, friendly, environment for vulnerable children ensuring that all your actions are transparent and open for discussion in professional supervision.
What we are looking for from you
You will work as part of the team to ensure that children, young people living in the home receive the appropriate levels and standards of care and support, involving them in matters and decisions that affect them.
It is also important that you can demonstrate that you have the courage to be strong to keep children safe through the day-to-day experience of their lives whilst also being able to discuss and repair relationships with children.
You will be able to demonstrate and describe your commitment and openness to engaging with Beacon Care's model of care to support the therapeutic needs of children/young people.
