An East Midlands Local Authority are looking for a Team Manager to join their Child Protection Team

The role brings Hybrid Working opportunities


Responsibilities of the role:


  • To lead, manage and motivate experienced staff and newly qualified social workers
  • To ensure that all children's outcomes are improved and that they are safeguarded effectively, demonstrating your expert practice in complex situations when making decisions and managing higher levels of risk
  • To build effective working relationships, demonstrate strong analytical skills, supervise and appraise your team
  • To ensure all team members have the relevant skills and knowledge to work effectively and efficiently and a robust understanding of the care proceedings process.

Requirements of the role:


  • Must have a social work qualification,
  • Must be Social Work England Registered.
  • Must have management experience.
