Vulnerability Knowledge and Practice Programme (VKPP)
The VKPP was launched in 2018 in response to a growing and changing demand picture across policing.

This was with a view to developing the evidence base and related policing responses to the abuse, neglect and exploitation of children and adults at risk to reduce offending and improve outcomes for those impacted.

Funded by the Home Office, the VKPP has grown rapidly and is expected to employ around 60 people this financial year.

The VKPP work in collaboration with a range of wider partners to support policing's leaders develop joined up evidence-based responses to some of policing's most demanding and complex areas.
