The post holder is a key member of the New Acute Hospital (NAH) Induction Training and Familiarisation Project Group and is expected to work flexibly to ensure that high quality project administration support is provided at all times, enabling the NAH Induction Training and Familiarisation Group, and devolved work streams to function effectively.


The post holder will undertake specific areas of work, to include, arranging meetings and note taking, arranging staff training, co ordinating arrangements for, and supporting the production of induction video's and films, supporting teams with induction checklists, compilation of induction information, sharing information, and being a central information point for hospital staff to contact about all areas of induction for our new hospital due to open in 2024.

Completion of report templates


Arranging meetings, note taking and maintaining an action log, maintaining annual calendar and ensuring that all workstreams within the induction plan, are on track.

Arranging staff training as directed to include venues, and diary management

Arrange familiarisation site tours


Coordinate filming dates for video productions, script approvals, site access arrangements, filming sessions and track video sign off ready for the induction platform.

Monitor the proposed project timelines and escalate where delays have occurred support the commissioning manager and extended Induction project group in engaging the wider workforce regarding delivery of the key milestones and tasks required for the provision of a successful induction programme for all staff


Post holder will be part of a small Commissioning Team based at City Hospital responsible for ensuring the new hospital is ready for opening.

We work closely with the construction program and all hospital staff to ensure that the hospital is equipped, staff are prepared for the move and fully inducted.

This post will also be working closely with the Learning & Development department.
