Sionic is currently seeking a Fundamental Review of the Trading Book SME to join its team on a permanent basis within our Banking & Markets practice in London.


The opportunity:

*You will:

  • Drive business analysis and root cause analysis of highprofile bankwide processes.
  • Have good stakeholder management skills, with experience operating with individuals from across multiple business lines simultaneously
  • Manage production of thematic recommendations and formulate proposals to take forward to senior program stakeholders.
  • Be a strong communicator, who can deliver key messages with impact.
  • Have degree level qualifications or equivalent preferably with further academic success. Leverage expertise and best practices to guide your team in developing highquality solutions

Your experience:


Essential:


  • Great knowledge of the regulatory landscape particularly relating to the Fundamental Review of the Trading Book or previous experience in a Regulatory Capital policy function.
  • Be a Subject matter expert on designing and implementing Target Operating Models within Banks.
  • Have experience in defining functional requirements in relation to a TOM.
  • Some knowledge on reg compliance, modelling choices and optimisation in relation to FRTB
  • To have experience in defining quality assurance criteria
  • Be confident enough to facilitate design specifications
