JUNIOR FACILITIES ASSISTANT

Our client, a global insurance firm seek a Junior Facilities Assistant to join their team on a permanent basis. This is an extremely exciting time to join the company as they will be moving offices in January 2025.
Giving the Junior facilities assistant great exposure to a variety of responsibilities and the opportunity to upskill and develop their experience.
You will report directly to the M&E Contracts Manager, onsite in their central London Offices and will be responsible for a variety of duties such as:- Complete Daily Walkarounds
- Monitor Health & Safety
- General Maintenance
- Post Room Duties
- Assist with Office Move/Moving of furniture etc.
- Oversee maintenance/building contractors and to document the work.
- Call out for out of hours problems as required.
- Management of basement/storage and maintaining an inventory
- Support Reception as and when needed and aid in booking and setting up meeting rooms.
- Preparing refreshments, clearing meeting rooms, and ordering catering as needed
- Arranging security passes
- Booking outgoing couriers
- Liaising with contractors and suppliers on a daily basis
- Ad hoc administration duties as needed.
As the Junior Facilities Assistant you must have:
- Previous Facilities/Front of House experience is essential.
- Basic Understanding of Health and Safety
- Excellent client facing and communication skills.
- Ability to prioritise a busy workload.
- A can do, adaptable working style.
- The ability to learn new processes quickly.
- Flexibility for occasional out of hours calls over the weekend/evenings (This will be compensated with overtime pay)
- Ability to commute to London as the base and the Redhill site on occasion.

£25,000.00-£30,000.00 per year
