Helping our colleagues to love using our Salesforce CRM system

We are Cambridge University Press & Assessment, a world-leading academic publisher and assessment organisation and a proud part of the University of Cambridge.

About the role

As the CRM User Engagement and Training Lead you will be dedicated to spearheading the delivery and improvement of an impactful training and user engagement program, focused on optimising the use of Salesforce and other CRM tools for effective account management, information handling, sales and onboarding, delivering growth in customer acquisition retention.

Accountable for developing the training "curriculum", you will continuously enhance training content and methodologies based on feedback and professional best practice and high-quality accessible delivery of the programme.

Collaborating closely with colleagues across the globe, you will align training initiatives with the organisational goals around CRM usage, customer data and sales and account management, ensuring tailored programs for diverse employee groups.

Ultimately, you will help colleagues use the CRM software proficiently and regularly, directly contributing to improved productivity, enhanced sales outcomes, and measurable organisational success.

About you
With exceptional instructional design skills, you will develop engaging and impactful training materials for adult learners.

Your strong communication and presentation skills, and ability to convey complex CRM concepts, blended with practical sales and account management methodology in a clear and understandable manner will make you successful in this role.

You'll have lots of great ideas and innovative ways to engage people in using the system, beyond just training, and the ability and drive to implement them.

Well-developed facilitation skills are key to leading training sessions, workshops, and webinars, fostering an interactive and participatory learning environment. As well as analytical skills to assess training effectiveness, interpret feedback, and make data-driven decisions for continuous improvement.

With demonstrable experience of management skills to efficiently manage resources, timelines, and deliver high-quality training programs within budget constraints, you will have proven experience in designing and delivering training and engagement programs, preferably in the context of CRM usage and account management.

Ideally with practical experience with CRM implementation and usage, including a deep understanding of the challenges and opportunities associated with CRM adoption, you will also have collaboration experience with cross-functional teams, including sales, IT, and management, to align training initiatives with organisational objectives.

Previous success in evaluating training impact through the development and implementation of key performance indicators and metrics is required, as is demonstrated ability to adapt training programs based on feedback, industry changes, and evolving organisational needs, resulting in tangible improvements in employee proficiency and organisational outcomes.
