Grade UE06:
£32,982-£38,205 per annum

Full-time (35 hours per week)


We are looking for someone to join the Enquiry Management service as one of two Team Leads, working with our team and wider university colleagues to deliver the best possible experience to prospective students considering the University of Edinburgh.


The Opportunity:


The Enquiry Management team is responsible for inbound enquiry management and communications between the University and prospective students, applicants and their supporters.

We are looking for someone who believes in great customer service, enjoys the challenge of always looking for ways to improve, working closely within a supportive team to ensure that the Enquiry Management service continues to develop and respond to the changing needs of prospective students and related stakeholders.

This post is full-time (35 hours per week), and the team currently work three days a week on campus.


Your skills and attributes for success:

  • Excellent customer service skills
  • Supervisory experience including allocating and prioritising work, monitoring progress and performance
  • Excellent interpersonal skills, including the ability to build effective and collaborative working relationships within a team and across an organisation.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills, including strong ability to tailor messages for a range of audiences Ability to work without supervision, using initiative and taking responsibility for a range of tasks
