FM Site Coordinator

Reporting To:
Site Manager
Key Responsibilities:

Site Coordination: Coordinate and oversee day-to-day facilities management activities at the site, including maintenance, repairs, and operational tasks.

RAMS Development: Develop, implement, and review Risk Assessments and Method Statements (RAMS) for all site activities to identify hazards, assess risks, and implement control measures.

Safety Compliance: Ensure compliance with health and safety regulations, codes of practice, and company policies at all times.

Contractor Management: Coordinate and supervise contractors and service providers working on-site, ensuring that they adhere to safety protocols and complete work to the required standards.

Emergency Preparedness: Develop and implement emergency response plans and procedures, including evacuation drills and first aid protocols.

Training and Education: Provide training and guidance to site staff on safety procedures, risk management practices, and emergency response protocols.

Incident Reporting: Promptly investigate and report any safety incidents, near misses, or hazards to management, and implement corrective actions as necessary.

Documentation and Record-Keeping: Maintain accurate records of site activities, including RAMS documentation, safety inspections, incident reports, and training records.

Continuous Improvement: Identify opportunities for process improvements and efficiency gains in site operations, safety protocols, and risk management practices.

Communication: Liaise with internal stakeholders, external contractors, and regulatory authorities as necessary to ensure effective communication and collaboration on site-related matters.
Qualifications and Skills:
- A Facilities Management, Health and Safety, Engineering, or related experience.
- Proven experience in facilities management, construction, or related industry, with a strong background in risk assessment and safety management.
- Certification in Risk Assessment and Method Statement (RAMS) development and implementation is highly desirable.
- Thorough knowledge of health and safety regulations, codes of practice, and industry standards.
- Strong leadership and communication skills, with the ability to effectively coordinate teams and communicate safety requirements to staff and contractors.
- Excellent organizational and problemsolving abilities, with a keen attention to detail.
Working Conditions:
- The role may require working outdoors or in various weather conditions.
- May involve occasional travel to other sites or locations as required.
Salary:
£22,000.00-£32,000.00 per year
