Mechanical Technician
Near Southampton
£18 per hour -£21
£32 per hour over 8 hours
A key client and a world leader in design, manufacture, installation, and management of process plant equipment/machinery.

Due to team expansion, winning new projects and a retirement of a current Mechanical Fitter an opportunity has arisen for an additional
Mechanical Fitter to join this successful exciting business on a permanent basis.

This opportunity will be working with the current mechanical fitter who will be retiring in the next 12/24 months. A great opportunity to gain further experience and gain knowledge from an experienced and current mechanical fitter.

Could lead to a permanent position

Working hours
38.75 hours per week
Mon to Thur 07:30 to 16:00, Fri 07:30 to 14:45


Essential (must have)

  • Able to read and interpret technical drawings
  • Pneumatics (this is essential)
  • To always have a positive and professional attitude at all times

Experience in:


  • Using Engineering drawings and documentation
  • Instrument Calibration procedures and techniques
