Role:

We have an opportunity for an HR Advisor to join our team supporting all Midlands and Liverpool contracts. Working closely with line management to ensure HR is effective and at best practice. This role is a general HR role covering all part of HR in the Midlands and Liverpool.


Key Responsibilities:


  • Supporting line management at every stage of the employment cycle, this could include, recruitment, onboarding, training and development, performance management, redundancy or TUPE consultations
  • Responsible for the roll out of training in line with the training plans and budget
  • Managing consultation process for redundancies and variation of contracts where necessary
  • Support with the delivering induction and other relevant people management training such as disciplinary and grievance updates for line management
  • Oversee and advise on all company formal disciplinary and grievance issues and manage any possible risks of ET1 claims Accountable for the coordination and delivery of the consultation process of TUPE advising management of legal pitfalls and liaising with trade unions to ensure a smooth transfer
  • Proactively manage sickness absence cases including occupational health referrals
  • Support community investment initiatives
  • Work closely with the wider HR team to deliver all people initiatives
  • Champion Axis Values
  • Follow and support policies, procedures, initiatives and work instructions related to sustainability improvement and environmental compliance
  • Coordinating and reporting on the social value of clients in the Midlands and Liverpool

Requirements:


  • Able to accurately input data
  • Able to accurately analyse data
  • Able to work independently and manage time effectively
  • Excellent verbal and written communication
  • Excellent use of Microsoft Office
  • Office administration

Other Key Information:


  • Working hours 8am to 5pm Monday-Friday
  • CIPD qualification level 5 or above
  • You must own an Android or IOS mobile phone which you will use as part of your job (BYOD)
  • All staff have a personal responsibility and accountability to Axis to ensure that their day to day activities adhere to Axis Policies.
  • It is the responsibility of all staff to ensure that their day to day activities embrace sustainability and reduce the impact upon the environment by minimise waste and maximise recycling; saving energy; minimise water usage and report any electrical faults, water leakage or other environmental concerns to the facilities or line manager.
